Come and experience the real Swiss ski resort in Lenk
Quiet, authentic, and very Swiss, you wont find many resorts left like Lenk. You could almost say it is not a resort but a small town with some ski lifts although it does have one of the most attractive hotel-spas in Switzerland. .This resort is not far from Gstaad and is set in a beautiful mountain cul-de-sac. On one side you can ski over to Adelboden and on the other you have Lenk's ski pistes or you can tour to Launen and other towns near Gstaad. This resort, located between Thun and from Gstaad, lies at the end of a valley hidden from the hustle and bustle of the world, beautiful in summer and just as charming in winter. Do not come here for glamour or even to use it as a base for Gstaad as it is a bit too far (40 minutes by car) for more than day trips. You can enjoy fun, but not too challenging skiing in Lenk or ski over the top of the valley into Adelboden. Lots of small restaurants abound and for something a bit more upscale you can visit the 5-star Lenkerhof or drive over to Gstaad.
