Close, yet so secluded

This house, built in stone, is one of the few privileged residences of the beautiful hill overlooking Paroikia. It is ideal for a small family or for two couples. Its seclusion and the feeling of being “on top of the world” makes guests easily forget that they are on one of Greece’s most cosmopolitan islands and in fact very close to the centre of town. Only a few minutes off one of the island’s main roads, Villa Kavaki offers the unique combination of absolute privacy and access to the lively center of Paros.

The villa was designed with such respect to the nature around it that it is difficult to see it from afar. The owners, who are decorators, have blended Asian artworks and furniture into this Greek setting to create a cosy interior which cleverly mixes the stone elements in the walls, the earth coloured furniture, and strong dashes of Aegean white. The terrace and pool, with their shaded couches and views of the town and the port, provide an ideal location for your morning coffee or your evening cocktail.
