The villa is set high on a rocky hillside overlooking the Mediterranean just outside the village of Santa Reparta. A gravel track leads you up from the village road to the back of the villa where there is an open parking area (please note this is four wheel drive access only). This location is particularly quiet and calm; for more hustle and bustle, the shops and restaurants of Ile Rousse are only a five minute drive away. Given the local sensitivity to building in harmony with the ecology and topography of the coast, the architect of this villa has built a modern home that is as much in harmony with nature as possible. The result is this discreet, contemporary, flat roofed villa using Corsican stone to blend into its surroundings so that it can be hard to spot even from a helicopter.

The villa has been built using the rocks of the hillside which are actually visible inside the sauna and other rooms in the basement. The interior has been decorated in a minimalist contemporary style using primarily greys, blacks and white. The sitting and dining area has pale-grey, slate, floor-tiles, black leather Le Corbusier sofas and chairs, and an open fireplace set into a dark grey, lime, roughcast wall. The floor to ceiling windows bring in lots of light and maximise the views of the Mediterranean. In contrast to the sober decor of the rest of the villa the bedrooms have colourful touches with pop art on the walls and brightly coloured bed linen. The swimming pool appears to hang over the side of the cliff and has sub-aquatic windows which look into the villa on the one side and out to sea on the other.
