Cannes is the most westerly of the resorts that make up the stretch of the Cote d’Azur known as the French Riviera. Cannes is the modern culture capital of this stretch of coast, with the Cannes Film Festival the highlight of the socialite’s busy calendar in May. A glamorous and wealthy resort, it lives up to its reputation of being the holiday centre of a certain set of wealthy and fashionable european society.

Come here to enjoy the beaches, and the food but also the countryside above Cannes. You will also want to indulge in one of the town's most famous past-times which is shopping in one of its many fashionable shops or arcades. A favourite of Americans since time immemorial. the resort can be quite difficult to move around in at all times of the year because of the traffic and the back streets are not nearly ass attractive as the water front and the marina.

Twenty-five minutes drive and you are in the hills near Mougins or Grasse with golf courses, beautiful villas, and lost of greenery. Come here to see and bee seen, to eat extremely well, and to relax in an urban setting by the sea.
